I paint in bold brash colours, attempting to add some brightness to the world around me. My images tend to roam from those that are close to my heart - the foxes, cats, birds and the like... To those odder, stranger parts of my brain.

I enjoy creating my own interpretations of creatures and places I know... But what really gets me excited about my art, is delving into those hidden depths... Figures holding aloft arms, with shining moments above them.

I often don't know where these images or titles come from, they come to me... I let them happen and try and edge them into existence.

Sometimes I'm able to look back, and see who some of the figures represent, it can be a slow process understanding what a piece means to me... But I'm just as intrigued in the ways they speak to the viewer.
